Tour to the Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak
On Saturday, after your first week excavations, a day trip to the The Thracian Tomb of Kazanlak will be organized. You will visit one of the magnificent and most popular places in Bulgaria. The tomb has been on the UNESCO World heritage site list since 1979 and is famous for its frescos. The tomb dates back to Hellenistic period and is located in the famous Rose valley near Seutopolis, the capital city of the Thracian king Seutes III.
The trip is included in the programme fee and will be organized either with a car or a minibus depending on the group size.
In one of the working days a visit to Starosel temple, close to Hisar, will be carried out. Please, refer to link 4. below
